Managing Director

Ryo Ito

Born in 1975.
Graduated from Boston University, Faculty of Management
Spent childhood in Singapore and studied abroad for high school and university in the USA.
Joined Oracle Corporation Japan in 1998. Set up R2 Japan Pte Ltd in Singapore as the Chief Executive Officer in 2006. Established Stylez Pte Ltd in 2008 as the Managing Director till present.

Operation Director

Simon Ooi

Born in 1993.
From Malaysia.
Started his hospitality career in 2016 at Long Chim Singapore, a Thai restaurant led by renowned chef David Thompson. During his time, Chef Thompson received the Diners Club® Lifetime Achievement Award at Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2016.

In 2019, he joined Mitzo Restaurant & Bar, a modern Cantonese restaurant that became a finalist for Asian Cuisine Restaurant of the Year at the World Gourmet Awards 2020.

In 2024, he was appointed General Manager at Ashino Sushi, an omakase restaurant known for jukusei (aged) sushi and authentic Japanese craftsmanship. The restaurant was featured in 50 Best Discovery and Tatler Dining’s Best Restaurants 2024.

Joined Stylez Pte Ltd in 2025 as Operation Director. Currently oversees multiple restaurant brands with strategic leadership and cross-cultural expertise.

Culinary Director

Kazu Oyama

Born in 1988.
From Yamagata, Japan.
Started his culinary career in 2009 at Yamazato, Hotel Okura Amsterdam, a Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant.

In 2012, he moved to Yamazato at The Okura Prestige Bangkok, serving as Sous Chef for 6 years. During his tenure, the restaurant received the Michelin Plate, and he was entrusted with preparing dishes for members of the royal family and the Prime Minister. The hotel is now recognized with a Michelin Key.

In 2018, he returned to Japan to work at The Okura Tokyo, gaining experience at the kappo-style counter created during the hotel’s reconstruction. The hotel has also been awarded a Michelin Key.Joined Stylez Pte Ltd in March 2023. Appointed as Culinary Director in 2025 till present.

Senior Advisor

Yutaka Tachibana

Born in 1974.
Graduated from Waseda University., Faculty of Literature.
Spent childhood years between 8 years old and 19 years old in Hong Kong and Singapore.
Joined Amuse Inc. in 1997 in the role of Talent Management before starting up Wild Orange Artists Inc. as the Founder/CEO in 2006. Manage movie and music production, as well as import of food products on the side.
Took on the role as a Senior Advisor at Stylez Pte Ltd under the request of the Managing Director, Ito, in 2022 till present.
